何為婚姻?
在美國東部一個小鎮，一對新人正在聆聽牧師讀出《何為婚姻》的英文詩，25年後的今天，我把它翻譯出來，分享出來。這對新人是我的弟弟和弟媳婦，婚禮後，他們送給我這首詩，我一直留作珍藏。他們已經結婚25年。
What is marriage?
Marriage is loving and being loved
It is sharing and caring, giving and taking, trusting and forgiving
It is walking hand in hand and talking heart to heart.
It is laughing together, crying together, praying together.
It is looking for good qualities in each other when the bad are the most obvious.
It is caring enough about each other to show the kindness even when it isn't easy.
It is seeing through each other's eyes and looking deep enough to see the beauty and love in the other.
It is never forgetting the things that first attracted you in each other.
It is climbing steep hills together and clinging to each other when times seem to be most difficult.
It is including in your dreams the happiness of another human being.
Marriage is believing in yourself and each other, looking to God for strength and thanking him that he gave you each other.
J and H, recognising that marriage is a journey to travel together; an opportunity to grow with another human being and to share with them the joys and challenges of life.
Are you ready, in the presence of God And your friends and family to declare your intention to join together in this understanding of faith and of love?
前些日子，先生把它抄在筆記本上。 他把這首詩 過膠，然後送給我。 先生給我驚喜， 如何去愛和接受愛，一生的學習。
在離婚率持續上升的香港，我們一起回到初衷，讀下當年愛的宣言，也許心底有一些感動，一些內疚，一些感嘆，一些反思...
結婚快三十年，這些日子，
反思一路走過來的日子，
經驗和教訓，點點滴滴...
感恩自己和伴侶都在進步；
感恩看到自己的不足，仍需努力。
如同一個孩子 ,每天都在學習、探索...
一份禮物 送給先生、孩子和家人，
送給一直支持我的讀者，
陪伴我同行的老師和朋友們
