Dear Ocean Sir,
Grateful to meet you today. We have many ideas in common. I
am still learning as so much to practice while working as a therapist.
I am happy that you set a good example for me from your
counselling experiences and philosophy.
Compassion Meditation
Thank you so much for sharing your therapy system with us,
including body-and-mind Buddhism counselling and the beautiful music therapy.
You reminded me of the importance of compassion—especially directing compassion
toward ourselves - self love.
Music Therapy
I completely agree that our bodies have self-healing
abilities. When we are in meditation, paired with the musical rhythm and tempo,
our cells work on self-healing, and our parasympathetic nervous system is
activated to relax our muscles and organs so they can function better.
When our body's inner music is in synchronization with the
music therapy, our body energy is enhanced, and our power for self-healing and
self-reflection is greatly improved. I will practice these two meditation
systems (breathing and compassion Meditations) more from now on.
For me, I really love as Sound therapy like Music therapy
and hypnosis therapy as it is very therapeutic, soothing, and relaxing. 👍👍
To follow our body's music, voice, and rhythm. What a
brilliant idea!
I remember Michael Jackson also said that our bodies are
musical instruments, and we need to listen to them, follow their rhythm and
voice, and resonate with them to achieve our highest potential.
Intention
I fully agree that intention is the key for a person to make
a change, whether they want to live as they dream or dare to face life's
toughest moments.
Our therapist acts as a guide and a channel, helping clients
connect with themselves and find their inner energy and wisdom, eventually
helping them to resolve their problems by themselves.
The ultimate purpose is to let clients become their own
master of life and therapists.
Our own Energy level
As a therapist, keeping our own energy and inner peace
at a high level is critical because people can feel whether you truly practice
what you advise.
Inner peace, alongside minimizing self-devaluation and inner
exhaustion, is crucial for a therapist—both to create a safe, peaceful
environment for ourselves and our clients.
Tonality
The tonality and speed of one's voice are also important; I
noticed you spoke very softly, clearly and warmly.
Light therapy is also wonderful. We mentioned a bit today.
Condition and Result - Cause and Effect
You mentioned one of a Buddhism teaching principles is
Condition and Result , do you mean 因果關係?Or
in NLP, Cause
and Effect. I think so.
Conditions can divide into outside and inside conditions.
Like what you said today we could gather and shared together, there were a couple
of conditions to drive us to be here.
First, it was us who wanted to come to learn from you. It was our choice.
I couldn't agree more what you said that conditions can be
changed from time to time, nothing is static for ever and almost everything is
impermanent.
Nevertheless, we have choice to be affected or not affected.
We have choice to transform ourselves to a state in which, our body need and
our mind can stay in peace.
Whether looking at it spiritually or practically, the law of
cause and effect or Buddhism teaching on Condition and Result to reminds us
that while we cannot always control every external event, we always have the
choice to shift our internal state, responses, and environment. By altering
our daily habits and mindset (our conditions), we naturally transform our
future (the result).
